With 44,000 places allocated for the 2025-26 Migration Program, the Employer Nomination Scheme (Subclass 186) remains the premier pathway for skilled professionals to secure their future in Australia.
1. Which Pathway Leads You Home?
Depending on your current status, there are three primary streams to PR:
Temporary Residence Transition (TRT): The fastest route for 482/457 holders. You only need 2 years of full-time work with your nominating employer to qualify.
Direct Entry (DE): For those with 3 years of experience and a positive Skills Assessment, allowing you to bypass the temporary visa stage.
Labour Agreement: Specialized pathways for regional or specific industry sectors.
2. The 2026 "Fast-Track" Priority List
Under Ministerial Direction No. 105, your application could be finalized significantly faster if:
Your job is located in Regional Australia.
You work in Healthcare or Education.
Your employer holds Accredited Sponsor status.
3. Eligibility & Age Exemptions
Age: Generally under 45. However, AOYE Group specializes in age exemptions for high-income earners (earning over $183,100) or specific academic roles.
English: Competent English (IELTS 6.0 or equivalent).
